Dinedor Talk Community Hub has worked with Fastershire to provide technology training to a small group of Dinedor residence. The small group approach was considered an important aspect of the course as it allowed the participants to address specific issues that each of them had with their technology. The course covered mobile phones, tablets and laptops, concentrating on the basics such as getting connected, using email and searching the internet.

Once the course is completed, we will be looking to see how we can follow up with Q and A sessions and further training in more specific areas.

The Christmas turkey is all eaten and the new year has been welcomed in, then comes the cold, dark and wet haul through to spring. One (almost) guaranteed way to eliminate the seasonal blues is to come along to January Jackets on 19th January at the village hall.
We will be serving piping hot jacket potatoes and cheese to cheer everyone up, after which Spring will feel like it’s just around the corner. Well nearly!
